Healing = Patience
What to expect after your appointment
Permanent makeup is a process, not an instant result. Trust the healing process, follow your aftercare, and allow your permanent makeup to fully settle. Understanding each phase of healing will help you achieve the beautiful, lasting results you desire.
Days 1-3 – Fresh & Bold
Right after your appointment, your brows, lips, or liner will look darker than you expected.
Don’t Panic! This is totally normal.
The initial bold appearance is part of the natural healing process. The pigment will soften and lighten as your skin heals over the coming weeks.
Days 4-7 – Flaking Begins
You may notice some light peeling or flaking as your skin heals.
Let this happen naturally. Don’t Pick! Picking or scratching can cause pigment loss.
This is your skin’s natural way of shedding the outer layers. Resist the urge to help it along—patience is essential during this phase.
Days 8-14 – Ghosting Phase
During the ghosting phase, pigment can look lighter, which is when people often think it didn’t work.
This is completely normal and colour will slowly reappear as healing continues.
Your skin is still regenerating beneath the surface, and the true color will emerge as the healing completes. Don’t be discouraged—this phase is temporary.
Week 4-6 – Touch Up Time
Touch ups are not optional and are part of the process, all treatments are done over 2 sittings
If you feel something needs refining, this is the time to fine-tune, shape, balance your final healed result.
A touch-up appointment allows us to perfect the shape, enhance color saturation, and ensure you’re completely happy with your permanent makeup.

It’s important to follow the home care and use the aftercare that I give to minimise the flaking/peeling
